The enemy AI is fairly well written. The enemies react intelligently to your maneuvers and will gun you down instantly if you make too much noise or stand in the open. They don't have hard-coded procedures, but choose their actions dependent on the situation. So, for example, when you play a mission a second time, you can't rely on enemy A coming from the left and enemy B standing

-Rise of Nations is a historical real-time strategy game which combines the strategic and in-depth features found in turn-based strategy games with the speed of real-time strategy games. The game was developed by Big Huge Games, the team behind

-Civilization 2 and Alpha Centauri, famous turn-based strategy games. However, the team has decided to move away from the turn-based genre for Rise of Nations. I bet most gamers will appreciate it. Rise of Nations brings a great deal of innovation from the turn-based world that creates a very different game-playing experience. National borders that define where you can build, multiple key cities you must defend, detailed tactical combat, and an in-depth technology tree all help bring that strategic depth from the turn-based world. You can win through military might, using everything from slingshots to cannons to stealth bombers; corner the market on key commodities, and wheel and deal with a wide variety of nations.

-You can quickly play from the Ancient Age (2000 B.C) to the Information Age.

Medal of Honor

John T. Thompson Sub Machine Gun

Juegos -Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (MoH:AA) is Quake 3 engine powered WWII-themed (1942-1944) straightforward first person shooter from developer 2015 (Wages of SiN mission pack creators). It's the first game in the Medal of Honor series to reach the PC, the first two Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor: Underground were developed by Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks Interactive for the Sony PlayStation. Like the Playstation predecessors, you play the role of Lieutenant Mike Powell, an American soldier - member of the famed 1st Ranger Battalion, as he travels from the battlegrounds of North Africa, to Omaha Beach, and finally, thrusting into the heart of Nazi Germany itself. I never played MoH on Playstation, but if I were to compare this game with the other shooters, MoH:AA feels like Quake set in WW2 with atmosphere of Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan. The result is surprisingly very good game! I bet you will really feel like you're a soldier from WW2, especially on the beach landing with people getting gunned down everywhere - do you remember the intro scene from Saving Private Ryan? :) This game really makes you feel like you're in a movie.

-The game is spread out over six distinct missions with a total of 33 levels, each mission taking place at a certain time and location starting in late 1942, and ending in early 1945. You can choose from realistic weapon models such as MP40 Sub Machine Gun, John T. Thompson Sub Machine Gun, the Springfield Sniper Rifle, M1 rifle, the U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, M1918A2 Bar Rifle and many others including a Bazooka or Stielhandgranate 24. However MoH:AA doesn't break current trend of these games and provides only 10-12 hours of gameplay on the standard difficulty. Although developers tried to implement a lot of scripted sequences that keep the story interesting (you can put demolitions on tanks, you can control of a machine gun in the back of a jeep, etc), they forgot to make game more interactive, you cannot even destroy crap around you (pictures and other objects), seems Duke Nukem interactivity still owns. It's a bit lame to shoot enemies in an indestructible environment (well maybe I forgot some explosive barrels, but that's all) And lack of blood? Heh that sucks too :( Fortunately you can leech Guts Mod, which adds blood & gore to the game.

- It doesn't mean that multiplayer sucks, but it's just not innovative in any respect. You can expect DM, team DM, team objective and round-based modes. Overall, MoH:AA is a very solid FPS shooter for those who likes regular simple shooters - run and gun fun, nothing more, nothing less. So if you like this genre, I sincerely suggest you grab this game! Download demos: SP demo / MP demo and visit the official MoH:AA website for more details.

snd: 5/5 - great sound and music, Germans actually speak German!, music dynamically adjusts to the action on the screen
gfx: 4/5 - definitely one of the best implementation of the Quake III engine, visually stunning environments, great level design that fits to the WW2 theme, realistic movement physics, no blood, collision detection problems
playability: 5/5 - incredible atmosphere&action - Omaha Beach rules!, surprisingly good AI, only 10-12 hours to complete (standard difficulty), realistic weapons, multiplayer has nothing new (but it's still fun), little repetitive missions, slow running, some claustrophobic levels :P, unsatisfying end of the game, nearly impossible to do any kind of stealth in the game

Lord British

of big talks going on by it developers
Juegos

So Avatar is back! His vacation is over and he must return to Britannia, help Lord British and the entire world from the evil and really "red" Guardian :) The world is now full 3D and graphically better then the Age of Empires II (by my opinion). But everything has his price. You need something like Pentium III, Geforce256 or G400 with minimally 256Mb of RAM to admire the game. If so, you will see day/nigh changes, realtime weather, interactive world full of people, monsters, villages or dungeons. What's really need to be mentioned is absolutly super sound with 3d card support, so you will hear multiple sound refractions, deformatios and effects. For Ultima fans it's a must (with a hardware upgrade), for the rest of the world it is one of the best looking RPGs of this year. It's only on you

-They's a lot of big talks going on by it developers and the editors! which caused us peoples to go crazed about this game. Now I'm a beliver the game is SUCK. You know I've waited impatiently for this game! when it finally out I rushed to the mall, try to be the first one to buy it. Now I'm dissapointed like most of you we've pay our hard earned cash! to this soundly game. Let me cut to the point! I was suprise to see that the pop only limits to 200 only, it like AOE, series. Why don't it be like the game called "America Conqest" were the units could storm out on the battle fields by the hundreds and thousands at one time.

- "ANKOR WAT", "STATUE OF LIBERTY", what's with this world famous land marked have to do with the game! it reminded me of a mixed of "SIM CITY", taste!. Another dissapointment is that when you built a air units like jet fighters and bombers etc, it hide in the air base all the time. You only see it fly out went you order it to attack. The grapics and structures are kinda nicely done. The city are suck it only produce workers, and it get even sucker when it only limit you to built one libray, science etc, at a time near a city. The nuke count-down to "zero" is also a drag!. Well overall I say this has a long way to go before they could claim a medal TAGs

-"Playmaker" control - with the use of the right analog stick you have more control over your entire team then ever. For example, on offense, you can discretely change receivers routes before the snap and during the play and direct blockers during kick/punt returns and run and draw plays. This feature is like an audible, but you don't need to shift as many players as you did in the 2003 version.

-Of course it requires some time to learn it
Owner mode (which is directly tied to the game's franchise mode) - you can the prices of everything from food and merchandise to parking. You are also able to hire/fire your coaching staff, including assistant coaches. Those of you who don't feel like dealing with the business side of the NFL, you can simply turn the owner mode off

-Overall, Madden 2004 provides solid gameplay which is pretty much unchanged from last year except for the previously mentioned integration of the Playmaker controls and the incredibly deep Owner's Mode. If you like this genre then this game is worth owning, you won't be dissapointed. Madden 2004 remains the undisputed leader in authentic NFL football simulation for the PC
