When you collect 100 adrenaline pills, you can perform keyboard combo moves including speed, invisibility and boost.
The combat is rules-based, real-time and pretty dynamic, with the ability to pause the time and deal out commands to your party members (they will perform those actions based on their stats). Since you have a huge number of Force Powers, combat feats, weapons, and items to use in combat, in addition to the challenge of
controlling a party of 3 characters, there is a ton of things to do during combat. I found the fights very enjoyable, particularly using Force powers as you really do get a feeling of your superiority as a Jedi.
There are also three different mini-games that serve as fun interludes: Pazaak (simple collectible card game), Swoop Racing and Ebon Hawk Gunner (turret gun space battle). The controls have been completely revamped for the PC, and now use the keyboard-[WASD]/mouse combo that we have all come to know and like.
Myst III: Exile
Myst III: Exile
Myst 3: Exile is the long awaited third installment (Myst 1993, Myst II: Riven 1997) in a series of graphic adventure games. So what you can expect from new Myst? The first major difference in Myst III: Exile is the addition of mouse look. In Myst III: Exile, the mouse is now really a camera! You can look around freely and examine every inch of the beautifully pre-rendered world. It's not possible to simply walk through the world, as it is still pre-rendered, but the difference is obvious. In addition, Myst III: Exile seems to be much more lively and entertaining than original Myst, the puzzles are more proximity based so that you can solve them within one area. But the game is still very similar to the classic Myst, I bet all hard-core Myst players will pretty pleased. The graphics are just gorgeous, most locations having a photo-realistic look to them (each scene is pre-rendered in 640x480 resolution, with 16-bit color, the game utilizes a brand new game engine that allows, a full 360-degree free look system how I mentioned above. The animations and the other dynamic effects like animals, sunlight, and rippling water are also very well done.
Surprisingly the game supports but not requires 3D hardware, but I highly suggest to use the hardware acceleration, as it not only offers better performance, but the graphics are also smoother. Myst 3: Exile features a fully orchestrated, original soundtrack that perfectly matches the progress of the story, also well done sound effects will frequently give you clues to solving certain puzzles. Ha puzzles !! :) Back to puzzles again. If you remember frustratingly hard puzzles from the past, don't be scared now :P Generally I found the puzzles well constructed. This isn't to say I wasn't challenged by a couple of the puzzles, but always wriggled out through more experimentation (trial and error) and brain power :)). The final word? Is Myst III: Exile the perfect game? No. And it's not for everyone. But it's a definite must for fans of the series and a worthwhile consideration for others. snd: 4/5 - Original ambient soundtrack, well done voice acting and sound effects gfx: 4/5 - Pre-rendered scenes are awesome, full 360-degree free look system, relatively low resolution playability: 4/5 - Intriguing story, with continuity from previous games, 5 entirely new ages to explore, long playability, simple&elegant interface, challenging&well-integrated puzzles, takes a lot of HDD space (2.2GB full install)
An attractive action game, full of 3D effects, transparencies, explosions, with a very cool and fast 3D engine. A bit hardest than I expected, but still playable. Only for hardware accelerators!
MOHAA was a good game for it's time, COD has taken the same formula and improved upon it in a number of ways, for example the weapons are better, (I especially like the way you can aim down the iron sights), the sound is better, there is more interaction with your squad mates with them providing covering fire and such and the graphics in my opinion are more polished. The single player is a little on the short side unfortunately, but I'm hoping that there will be a few mission disks in the near future. So all in all, MOHAA was great at the time, but is now showing it's age. COD is the new flavour of the month. I and most other gamers hope that Pacific Assault is even better still and the one after that is better than all those before
snd: 4/5 - Terminator like soundtrack and EAX support for sound. What else do you want ???? gfx: 5/5 - There's nothing to add. Admire! playability: 3/5 - Thanks to the great graphics it's good, but I've seen better games of this genre.
Evil Core: The Fallen Cities
Evil Core: The Fallen Cities
Year 20 000 A.D. Story is based on Planet called Malia, which have been discovered by humans long ago. Malia is giant planet with beautiful purple and blue skies and huge undeground. On Malia live peaceful Blablic race, which have been constrained into weapon development due to sudden outbreaks of war. World of Malia is divided to Old World Sections (caves, mines, temples, ruins, etc.) and New World Sections (air, ground). You will need destroy your enemies and complete missions, which you have obtained from Blablic Council. When you complete mission, you will earn money for buy many items from stores and fly anywhere you want.
the music is bloody annoying . so i shut it off. other than that i think that in needs so more blood and gore. its too "power level base" which is lame i when give me a break here. oooo ships can take 10 hits whatever its lame. you'll see you when you use the ground
snd: 3/5 - Some of the combat sounds and wingmans talk to you. Evil Core doesn't use any of those special sound effects via 3D sound card, but it's still good. gfx: 3/5 - The player controls his ship in a world of 3D accelerated graphics with only Direct 3D support. Graphics engine looks very simple, but it is very fast in high resolution. Uses nice lensflares and other special efects. playability: 2/5 - Your ship is controlled by a joystick, pad or keyboard. Keyboard may be configured, but I found a problem to setup keys for the optimal play performance. The ship is hard to control and it is very slow.

Exile rocks!! Gameplay is superbly loong. I'm still not finished with all the levels. They're pretty hard to figure out. Loved 'Myst' ever since the first one came out
You clowns are just buying this crap to showcase what your "l33t video card" can do. UT2K3 contains no new, totally fantastic gameplay features that I can see from the last one, it's just a graphic overhaul. In fact, as one person already mentioned, it REMOVED features from the original. If they had added new gameplay features, THEN it deserves the hype. As it is, Game of the Year goes to Age of Mythology so far.
Argue that one, because if you disagree you're automatically wrong as it is. Have fun bickering, ladies. By the way, I can't believe some of you actually paid for UT2K3
