Electricidad Gratis

-This game is defined by developers as gothic action-adventure. Your team comes to Mars, where the human base doesn't respond for a long time. Your investigation team becomes aware their survival depends upon their ability to work together while staying apart - until they finally confront the secret hidden deep underground, a secret older than humanity.

-While the scenery is very cool, the game play is the same old grind, nothing imaginitave here. While some maps are teriffic, others are down right lame. The Tirpitz mission is nothing more than a re-hash of the submarine mission from MOH. All the maps appear to be restrictively scripted and the only course of action is the one prescribed by the map designer.

- While impressive at times, the enemy AI is predictable and the friendly AI seems to get in the way more often than not. However, it is cool to see the enemy react to incoming fire and try to throw grenades back at you. The game was way too short. Overall I had fun playing COD but except for a few maps, it has little replay value

MechCommander 2

immersive and fully 3D
Juegos

-MechCommander 2 is an strategy/action game that drops you once more into the familiar BattleTech Universe. You probably still remember Mechcommander that was released in 1998 and MechCommander Gold which included an expansion campaign as well as new options and new mechs. These games was cool, with good storyline and graphics. So what is new provides MechCommander 2? In Mechcommander 2 you take on the role of a mercenary commander that has just arrived on the planet of Carver V with his fledgling company and is immediately thrown into the cauldron of House Steiner's battle with local bandits...well big surprise? seems it's not

However if you are MechCommander fan, you probably won't be disappointed, MechCommander 2 features 4 never before seen mechs (together over 29 Mechs), 24 missions of frantic action (shoot'em all!) in an immersive and fully 3D environment, multiplayer for up to eight players and eight teams over the Internet on Zone.com or a LAN, Mission Editor (the same tools employed by MechCommander 2 level designers) to create your own missions and even an Encyclopedia with all the details you need to feel at home in the BattleTech Universe. But the most obvious change from its predecessor is the move from 2D sprites to a full 3D game engine. The result is obviously better graphics and noticeably smoother interface, easily controlled free camera and zoom. Also the terrain and buildings are beautifully modeled and quite realistic. Only the mechs themselves are a little less detailed when you zoom in closely, but who care

- Although the improvements over the original MechCommander are striking, the game gameplay is rather similar, which isn't a bad thing. Like the first MechCommander, MechCommander 2 places you in control of multiple mechs rather than in the cockpit of a single one (a la the Mech Warrior series). Multiple combats within the campaign will decide whether you are successful or fail at your objectives. First of all you have to configure&customize your mechs first, buy pilots. Each mech can be outfitted with multiple types of weaponry, sensor packages, and armor. Certainly the goal is to build the perfect unity of mech and pilot to success in game objectives :) Another surprise in Mechwarrior 2 is the use of resources and credits. In the original game you won resources for completing mission objective, now you win c-bills (money) to be able buy new `Mechs and modify them. Resource points are accumulated during the mission by capturing resource buildings/trucks.

snd: 4/5 - excellent, superb effects, pretty loud explosions :)
gfx: 4/5 - full 3D (resolution up to 1280x1024x32-bit), free camera with zoom, beautifully modeled terrain and models, poor in-game movies
playability: 5/5 - excellent, enriched MW gameplay, easy to learn, good interface, multiplayer for up to eight players and eight teams over the Internet on Zone.com or a LAN, Mission Editor, BattleTech Universe Encyclopedia

Missile Command

Missile Command
Juegos

-The Missile Command is remake of oldest version that it possible to play on good - old ATARI, or AMIGA. It`s classic 2D arcade with static background, where only priority is shooting down all of missiles, type air - ground, moves like a ghost on the skiline. On every higher level flowing dificulty, so on the 9TH level speed equals "light velocity". So good luck...

-If you have resources, you can call airstrikes, build local artillery, send out sensor probes, or repair your damaged Mechs! It's really pretty cool. This sweet improvement adds an entirely new dimension of tactics to the game. But the best part of the game is combat. Fortunately the combat is pretty simple here, you don't need anything special to learn. Everything you need is target an enemy, and the mechs under your command will move forward and backward to get the best range for the attack, You even don't need to switch between weapons, automatically the best one is being used. The explosions effects are simply excellent! If you are a big fan of the 1st-person shooters, you may not enjoy this game as much as MechWarrior 4, but I simply very like this game. if you are fan of the original Mechcommander, you must have this sequel!

snd: 3/5 - decent blasts
gfx: 3/5 - static background 2D arcade
playability: 4/5 - be quick or not to be
genre: arcade
Star Wars

Star Wars
Juegos

-Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) is role-playing game from Bioware, set in the Star Wars Universe, 4000 years before the events in the Episode 1. The story starts off shortly after the Republic has won a war against the Mandalorians. At some point during the war however, something twisted the two powerful young Jedi who led the Republic to victory. When they came back from the war, they returned not as saviours, but as conquerors at the helm of an unimaginably large Sith fleet. The game starts off with a jaw-dropping cutscene in classic Star Wars style, and leads straight into the action. The Republic is under attack from an unimaginably large fleet of Sith warships controlled by Darth Malak, and is helpless against such an overwhelming force. You play as a mysterious character who awakes on board a Republic ship being attacked and boarded by the Sith.

-Since it was Bioware behind the design, it doesn't take a visionary to guess what the gameplay is like. The gameplay is basically a stripped down version of D&D. The battle interface is easy to understand and intuitive and is ideal for beginners and RPG veterans alike. KOTOR allows you to play a male or female in one of three base classes: soldier, scout, and scoundrel. These three basic classes roughly correspond to D&D's fighter, ranger, and rogue. If you are a scoundrel, you use stealth, mines, and talking. A soldier simply beats stuff up, and a scout uses both fighting and technological know-how. Later in the game you get to make the choice of your Jedi class - Guardian, Consular or a Sentinel. Of course, you can customise each character with a range of skills and feats and in the case of Jedis, Force Powers. As you gain experience and start to move up in level (maximum of 20 experience levels), you will be able to improve all your skills and add to your Force powers and combat feats. Skills allow you to do things like repair droids or break into security systems, with feats, you can do special moves in combat that make better use of particular weapon types. And finally, there's a wide range of Force Powers in the game, such as lightning, telekinetic kill, and choke.

-I really enjoyed finishing this game. This game is just awesome, definitely one of the best game released last year. The story is killer. I'm not hardcore Star Wars fan that has seen all the movies multiple times, but the story is probably better than both of the new movies. If you're looking for an RPG with good action and adventure elements, then pick this up as soon as possible. If you're a Star Wars fan then this is a must have.

snd: 5/5 - top notch, excellent voice acting draws you into the story
gfx: 5/5 - amazing (heavily modified NWN engine), extremely detailed, impressive combat scenes, annoying slowdown at higher resolutions
playability: 5/5 - excellent, fantastic story, simplified version of 3rd Edition D&D, WASD+mouse controls
